Do you feel like insurance denials are ever-increasing? It isn’t your imagination – denials have increased significantly over just the past few years. If your hospital is feeling the strain, mark your calendar for Wednesday, February 21 from 9:30 – 11:00 am CT when NDHA and the North Dakota Medical Association will provide an exclusive webinar for their members regarding how to appeal insurance claim denials.
The presentation by Domna Antoniadis, Senior Attorney, LegalHealth (bio below), will provide information regarding how health care providers can appeal insurance claim denials. The live webinar will include timelines for such appeals and the various levels of internal and external appeal. It will include the types of decisions subject to appeal rights and suggestions on ways to incorporate insurance advocacy into administrative protocols. Shareable training slides and a handout of quick facts will be provided to attendees.
