Patient safety and risk management issues, along with The Joint Commission (TJC) National Patient Safety Goals will be addressed.
At the conclusion of this session, participants should be able to:
- Recall data and statistics regarding medical harm, including costs per year.
- Recite basic definitions when discussing errors, adverse events, and negligence.
- Describe patient safety and risk management techniques to identify and prevent recurrence of adverse events.
A speaker from Nash Healthcare Consulting will be identified soon.
